Guitar Performance I began to play guitar when I was a Freshmen in high school and till this day I still play guitar. I am currently enrolled in Advance Guitar 2nd year. During the time that I have spent playing the guitar, I have learned many techniques, songs, and I have preformed for many people including, going to the radio station KVPR in Fresno, CA, to the children at the Children Hospital and at Fresno City College. I have built up my techniques with the help of my class mates and the help of my teacher, Ms. Wills. When I was a Freshmen, I took Beginning guitar which teaches you the basic notes and cords with some easy songs. During my Sophomore year, I took guitar again, but that year I took, Intermediate Guitar and during that year, I applied what I had learned the year before. My Junior year I took Advance Guitar and during that year, everything was much harder, from the songs to the scales. This year I enrolled in the class once more but this year as Advance Guitar second year. I am very exited about going and preforming at KVPR and at the Valley Children Hospital once more.
National French Honors Society I have been in National French Honers Society since my Junior year and I am currently still in the club. This club was formed by a teacher that was at Lindsay High School during the year 2014 to 2015, his name was Mr. Dumbia. I am grate full that he gave me the opportunity to be in this club and to have accepted me in his class for two years. National French Honers Society was formed for the students that where able to make it to any of the classes that where French 3 and above. When the Seniors of Lindsay High School graduate, if you where in the club, you would graduate with Honers and that is what I am going to do this year. It was difficult for me because i had only finished French 1 and I was given the chance to go into French 3 so i took it. I had to work extra hard to understand and to do the work considering that it was a new language. The club allows us to practice our French, earn money for trips, and so that we could ask questions if we don't understand something.
